Buying Materials

Have you ever seen huge amounts of cheap ores, herbs or maby leather for a very cheap price but didnt buy it because you were afraid you would lose your gold? Thats a huge mistake, you should always buy cheap materials that you later can use for your professions when crafting items that sells for alot more than the material costs.

You should stockpile as much cheap materials as you can and sell them of in crafted items, for example netherweave bags. You should always buy all the cheap netherweave cloth and then craft them into netherweave bags and sell them for a nice markup on the auction house. If you find 200 cheap netherweave cloth stacks, you should buy them all because you dont want to run out of materials, if you have no netherweave cloth and the demand for netherweave bags is huge and there is no cheap netherwaeve cloth on the auction house, you have failed to make as much gold as possible.

Me myself have a list of the items Iam buying and what prices Iam willing to pay for them. This helps me doing it all alot faster and just search through the AH for the materials I need.

Low and Mid level gold tip

This is a place in Northern Barrens in the area I have marked red you can find a pet named "Leaping Hatchet" They can be found around the trees in the "bird nests" that spawn there every couple of hours. Not alot of people know this so on low populated servers its almost 100% chance you get a pet when you go there searching for one. This pet is easly sold for a couple of hundred gold depending on your server and how much the people wants it.

Low Level Gold Farming?

Are you new to World of Warcraft and want to make some startup cash? Then I would recommend you to check out this two low level farming spot, one for alliance and one for horde(the alliance one also work for hordes, just not as easy)

1.
This is the Alliance low level farming spot. You will kill Sandcrawlers in Westfall and they will drop alot of Crawler meat, Crawler Claws and Clam meat. All those materials are used in leveling cooking and because high level characters dont have time to farm it they buy it for very high prices. You can make over 500 gold per hour if you are patient and sell the items when the prices are high.  I would recommend to never overfarm this materials because the demand for them aint huge so one maby two hours at most.

2.
This place is for hordes and is located in durotar just outside orgrimmar. Here you will kill boars that drop alot of Boar meat. The Boar meat sells for over one gold a piece on my servers and sell very well. This place isnt as good as the alliance low level farming spot, but realy does the thing when your out of gold at low when your new to the game. Same thing here as the alliance spot, never overfarm this place because the demand aint super high so we dont want to flood the market and push the prices down.

Time is money even in World of Warcraft

One big problem almost all new WoW goldmakers are doing is spending way to much time not doing a thing. You dont have to check your bankcharacter more than once or twice a day and never have to sit in Stormwind city or Ogrimmar spamming tradechat that you are buying all diffrent kinds of materials. Logg on your bank alt hit a macro that will say WTB (all the materials you need) then check your auctions and if anyone whispers you back dont do the trade just because you will save a few gold not buying straight out of the AH. If your time in wow is worth lets say 1000gold per hour that means 1000/60=16.7, that means that your time in wow is worth almost 17g per minute... What Iam trying to say is dont waste your time running around looking for a trade just because you can save a few gold when buying a couple of cloth stacks, everyting should be automatic and take as short time as possible. Another thing is when people ask you for an enchant or someting similar, you should always take a tip that will be good for you money wise and if they start shouting about they use their own mats and so on, just put them on ignore.

This is the most important step for all goldmakers to take, use your time wisely and do not waste it on pathetic trades and so on.

Profession Tips part One - Tailoring

The most basic tailoring tip all tailors should know of is in the Netherweave bag market. To craft a bags you need 315 tailoring skill, 4 bolts of netherweave (20 netherweave cloth) and a runed thread that cost 50silver on a tailoring vendor. Start of with scanning the AH (this is alot easier with Auctioneer read more about Auctioneer in my other post about WoW Addons) check for both netherweave cloth and bags. If the bags cost lets say 20g each and the netherweave cloth have four stacks for 6 gold each ten more stacks for 10 gold each and forty more stacks for 12 gold each, now I want you to buy the stacks of netherweave cloth... all of them. You should search the AH atleast once or twice a day for cheap netherweave cloth. Then you can start crafting a few, you dont have to craft them al at once. Watch the netherweave bag market and look for competition if you have alot of competition I recommend posting about 8 bags per time and undercut your competitor by a few silver. If you have no competition at al you can post about 16 bags per time for 48 hours. You will have to try this out a bit because not all servers will sell 16 bags at a 48 hour period and some servers will sell 32 bags at a 48 hour period!

Make sure you always have netherweave in stock and netherweave bags on the AH but never sell if you will lose gold on the sale. If there is four bags for 5 gold each and the rest at 15 gold each you have two options either buy the four bags out or just ignore them and just undercut the 15gold bags because the 5 gold bags  wont affect your bags anyways.

Expansion and Patches

Ever head that new Expansions and Patches are a goldmine? Well if not you have someting to learn! Me myself joined the "Expansion and Patches" market very late in my goldmaking career. I don't want you to make the same mistake I did and start it so late. Start planning the next patch or expansion right now! Go to WoW Patch notes or simply just google "World of warcraft patch notes" and search for newly released patch notes.

The first thing you should do when finding out some information about an unreleased patch or expansion is searching for items that will get buffed or nerfed.With buffed I mean items that might be getting more powerful or used in some new items. With nerfed I mean items that will be getting less usable or not needed for crafting anymore. So simply start buying up all the items that will get buffed the next patch or expansion for a relative low price and then resell them for huge markups when the patch or expansion hit. And you should get rid of the items that will become nerfed or usless as fast as you can and make as much gold as possible from them.

This isn't someting most people rely on because you never know when the new patch or expansion will come or how much you can make from it but I will asure you that you can make several hundred thousand gold from a good expansion and Iam not kidding when saying that.

Profession Gold Making

I often hear people not picking up professions until they hit lvl 85 and use their hard earned gold to buy overpriced mats because they want to powerlevel their profession fast. What I would reccomand to do is make yourself a plan. What professions would you like to use at level 85? Maby enchanting? Maby alchemy, Its all up to you. When you have chosen what your profession at level 85 will be I want you to either pick up either Mining/Herbalism, Mining/Skinning or Herbalism/Skinning. If your goal at level 85 is to level Blacksmithing and Enchanting, Then  atleast pick Mining and save all the ore and greens you get from leveling and send that to a specific bankcharacter that will store them for later use. When you hit level 85 then I want you to exchange your proffesion to the ones you planned on useing and use all the material you collected during leveling and make sure you craft the best item costwise if the item can be sold on the AH then sell it there. The material you collected during leveling will probably not be enough to max your new profession but it will be a very good start and when you do this you will actually make money from leveling your proffesion instead of losing money.

If you wanna maximize your income of gold you should have all profession at maximum level, thats someting that you will have to work on overtime because it takes alot of time but its very doable and very important.

More tips about how to make money with specifik profession will come in the future. Right now Iam going through the basics of making money in WoW. I will make it more and more complex tips overtime so the more experienced money makers stay tuned!

WoW Farming Gold

I'am not going to go through any particular farming spot in this post, posts about particular farming spots will come in a few days. The number one thing you should always keep in your head is "Time Is Money" You should always keep track of how long your farming and never farm anyting that will make you less money than you can farm at other places (If not the case is that you know that the items will increase in price because of a patch etc then you can ofcourse farm it and keep it in stock.

Use the WoW timer to keep track of how long you have been farming, and my tip is that you should never farm one mob more than one to two hours because A. you don't want to flood the AH with the items you'r farming and B. Farming is boring and you shouldn't put alot of time in it.

Put some money into investing in gems and enchants, it will make the farming alot easier and make you more money in the long run. Same with epic flying mount, when farming with mining and herbalism, Epic flying mount is a must have to maximize your Gold Per Hour!

WoW Addons

In my other post about how to make money on the AH I didnt metion that i was using addons. There is a few "must" have addons when you are trying to make gold in World of Warcraft. Addons is like an application that will help you with stuff in game, some addons are illegal but the ones I will show you is 100% legal. I download my addons from http://www.curse.com/. The first addon I will talk about is Auctioneer .
auctioneer is a addon that works with the AH, with the auctioneer you can scan the AH a few times a week and have a huge database with your server prices and it can help you find good priced materials or other good deals. I suggest you to try work with it yourself so you learn how to use it.

The next addon I'am gonna talk about is MailGet, MailGet will allow you to emty your Mailbox in a single click, without MailGet you have to click every mail yourself and with several hunder mails that will take an awful lot of time.


This two addons will make your life easier and save you alot of time and when you save alot of time you gold/hour rate will go up and thats what you whant. Time is money folks!

World of Warcraft The Auction House

Alright I will start this blogg of with some world of warcraft gold making tips and tricks. I know there is alot of gold making tips out there so Ill do my best to try cover the ones thats not so viral. This blog is not one of those usual gold making bloggs, I will try make this blogg fun to read, I want you to make a laugh while watching my videos and reading my posts not just show you a video of me, farming for one hour and show you how much I made. I'am trying to make my gaming experience someting fun and not just an grind. If thats how you would love to play you'r game then I think you have come to the right place.

To start of I'll say a few words about the Auction house. We all know I'ts the AH where all the bad boys are making their loads of cash. Have you ever heard the common term: buy low and sell high? Well ofcourse you have because thats what all the goldmaking videos and guides are saying. Do you wanna hear what I have to say? They are completely wrong! Buying low and selling high aint a good gold source, well ofcourse you can snatch a few rare pets for a few gold and then resell them for thousands of gold but that doesen't happend every day and ain't someting to rely on. To make money by reselling items you should be bidding low and selling for a normal price thats where the money starts popping in. A tip not alot of people know of is that you can bid on items just befour the servers go down on the Wednesday morning and the timer wont stop so when you log in after the serverdown you have your mailbox full with cheap materials and items ready for resselling. You should also be focusing on when to sell and when to buy the items, flasks for exampel are great to buy at Monday and then be resselling for a huge markup on Wednesday because then all the raids have been reseted and the demand for flasks will start increasing and the prices will go up. Same with enchanting scrolls and gems, people will get new gear at Wednesday and Thursday so the prices on enchants and gems will also be increased.
